A homeless man has been jailed after admitting killing a Burnley man as he stood outside a shop. Wayne Bradbury, aged 30, of no fixed abode, admitted manslaughter at a hearing at Preston Crown Court in July of this year. On 29th April he had punched Andrew Hayes, against whom he held a grudge, when he encountered him in the street. Mr Hayes fell and later died from his injuries. On Friday 21st July Bradbury, who was found to be a dangerous offender, was sentenced to an extended sentence of detention of 81/2 years. Tim Storrie defended Bradbury for NGA Solicitors, Burnley.
