Dan Thomas specialises in financial and regulatory crime and commercial litigation.

Since joining Lincoln House he has regularly been instructed in large-scale fraud and business crime trials acting on behalf of professional people and companies.

Dan’s expertise in matters of fraud and regulatory law is reflected by his membership of a number of specialist panels:

- Dan is the only junior barrister on the Northern Circuit to have been appointed to join the Serious Fraud Office (‘SFO’) Panel;
- Dan is one of a select group of barristers in England & Wales who are instructed to prosecute on behalf of the Health & Safety Executive, Environment Agency and Office of Rail Regulation – the Government’s ‘Regulatory List’; and
- Dan is a member of the CPS Fraud Panel.

Dan brings to his practice the experience of working for Canada’s largest law firm in Toronto in the fields of commercial litigation, white-collar fraud and appeals to the Supreme Court of Canada. As such, Dan is not simply a criminal specialist, he advises in commercial and business disputes, employment law and public law matters including judicial review.
