Lincoln House Chambers has an enviable reputation in the field of health and safety enforcement and the members of our specialist health and safety team are regularly instructed in some of the most high profile cases throughout the country. We are able to draw on the skills and experience of a number of Queen’s Counsel and junior barristers who specialise in this area of work and are recognised as leaders in their field.


We regularly act for companies, directors and individuals in relation to criminal proceedings arising from alleged breaches of health and safety legislation. We also act for the HSE, local authorities and CPS in relation to the prosecution of health and safety offences and a number of the team are members of the list of specialist advocates in health and safety law.


Our members pride themselves on providing a first class service throughout all stages of health and safety prosecutions. We are able to advise on pre-charge and investigatory matters, fee for intervention and responses and appeals to improvement and prohibition notices.


In addition, our members provide representation and advice to directors, individual employees, companies and family members at inquests following work related deaths.
