Kate Blackwell QC & Dan Thomas prosecute Premier League footballer Adam Johnson

Kate Blackwell QC and Dan Thomas, instructed by Senior Crown Prosecutor Jim Hope of the Complex Case Unit Newcastle, are currently prosecuting the trial of Adam Johnson.

The Sunderland FC and England footballer pleaded guilty to one charge of sexual activity with a child and one charge of meeting a child following sexual grooming on Day 1 of his trial at Bradford Crown Court.
The trial continues.
