Maura McGowan Q.C. Appointed as High Court Judge

Lincoln House Chambers are delighted to announce the appointment of Maura McGowan QC as a High Court Judge, assigned to the Queens Bench Division.

Maura has a long association with Lincoln House Chambers, having led many of us in trials in Manchester and further afield. She has been a door tenant in Chambers since 2010. Maura served as Chairman of the Bar in 2013.

Maura McGowan was called to the Bar in 1980. She took silk in 1997. She has been a Recorder since 1999 and a Deputy High Court Judge since 2002.
