NEIL USHER SECURES ACQUITAL FOR TAXI DRIVER ACCUSED OF ATTEMPTING TO RAPE HIS PASSENGER

Neil Usher successfully defended a taxi driver accused of a series of sexual assaults including attempted rape on one of his passengers, following a six day trial in Preston. In R v MK, the alleged victim claimed the defendant had assaulted her in his taxi and again in her own home. The defendant insisted his passenger had sexually assaulted him, and had forced him to perform sexual acts against his will. The jury took just one hour to acquit the defendant.
