Neil was called to the Bar in 1993, having spent 7 years working as a senior advisor to one of the main political parties in London. Having been educated and raised in Bury, he returned to the North West in 1993.
He has a busy criminal practice, divided fairly evenly between defending and prosecuting. He is a Category 4 Prosecutor and his main area of work is now defending and prosecuting in serious sexual offences. Earlier this year he and another Lincoln House member Rachel Smith successfully prosecuted in the Rochdale “Asian “ grooming case heard at Liverpool Crown Court.
He also has a busy Tribunal practice, representing both the GMC and the Royal College of Nurses.
Neil now concentrates on more serious and complex criminal cases.
