Called to the Bar in 1987, Paul joined Lincoln House from Young Street Chambers.

Now cited annually in the Legal 500 for his established expertise in money laundering and white-collar crime, Paul’s practice now centres on fraud, money laundering, and complex confiscation issues.  Paul has also become recognised for his appellate practice achieving notable successes in the Court of Appeal for convicted defendants who ask for advice afresh.  Paul regularly lectures on issues relating to disclosure, evidence, money laundering, and confiscation.  In the last five years Paul has represented three separate solicitor defendants, a chartered accountant and two company directors concerning financial irregularities.
