Peter Wright Q.C. Secures Acquittal in Nigel Evans Trial

After a five week trial at Preston Crown Court, the jury unanimously found Mr Evans (the former deputy speaker of the House of Commons and Ribble Valley MP) not guilty of one count of rape, five sexual assaults, one attempted sexual assault and two indecent assaults.
