Undiagnosed epileptic Charlotte Lonican was accused of causing injury by careless driving after her car collided with an oncoming vehicle. Lonican had an epileptic seizure whilst driving, causing the crash and serious injury to the other driver. The accused was found not guilty, after trial, by reason of automatism.
