Richard Dawson joined Lincoln House in 2010, bringing with him a practice based in serious crime which  is predominantly Defence focused.  Richard is regularly instructed in publicly funded cases but his practice has shifted to adopt a bias towards private work. 

Richard’s practice encompasses work across the criminal spectrum; although focused on offences of serious violence, dishonesty and fraud; large scale public disorder; and major drugs and mental health cases. 


A particular field of interest is Road Traffic law and driving offences.  Richard specialises in defending drivers charged with offences arising out of fatal road traffic accidents and those causing catastrophic injury.

Richard has developed a strong reputation for hard work, immaculate preparation and clear fact management in complex cases and he is highly regarded by all those who instruct him.
