Richard Dawson joined Lincoln House in 2010, bringing with him a practice based in serious crime.  Richard is a Grade 3 Prosecutor; however his criminal practice is predominantly Defence focused.  Richard is regularly instructed in publicly funded cases but his practice has shifted to adopt a bias towards private work. 

Richard’s practice encompasses work across the criminal spectrum; although focused on offences of serious violence, dishonesty and fraud; large scale public disorder; and major drugs and mental health cases. 

A particular field of interest is Road Traffic law and driving offences.  Richard specialises in defending drivers charged with offences arising out of fatal road traffic accidents.

Richard has developed a strong reputation for hard work, immaculate preparation and clear fact management in complex cases and he is highly regarded by all those who instruct him.
