Sergey joined Lincoln House Chambers in 2004 from a commercial firm and law teaching background, and now enjoys a busy practice in serious crime, employment and tax tribunal, prison law and civil litigation.

He specialises in all aspects of serious crime, including very serious violence (section 18), serious public disorder, fraud, and sexual offences. His criminal practice allows him to act for both the Defence and Prosecution at the Crown Court. His working week consists of conducting one or more jury trials and one prison law hearing per week. Sergey’s involvement in Magistrates Court matters is: defending privately instructed regulatory and road traffic offences which involve technical legal points.

His civil workload consists of personal injury advice and litigation, and his particular interest lies in chancery claims in the county and high courts. He also frequently represents appellants in the Employment and Tax Tribunals in Manchester and London.

Sergey practices mainly in the North West, although he is frequently instructed to conduct civil and criminal cases in London.

Sergey is licensed to provide legal advice and representation  in relation to all civil matters directly to members of the public, without the need to go through a solicitor. This has tremendous costs advantages to some litigants. If you are interested in instructing Sergey directly, please ring David Wright on 0161 832 5701.
