Following a ten day trial at Preston Crown Court, Simon Gurney secured the acquittal of his client who had been accused of raping and sexually assaulting one complainant and sexually assaulting another whilst they stayed overnight in a hotel in Blackpool. The jury deliberated for over ten hours before returning verdicts of not guilty in respect of all of the counts alleged against Simon’s client.
