Alistair Webster QC & Dan Thomas re-appointed to Serious Fraud Office (SFO) Panels of Counsel

Alistair Webster QC and Dan Thomas have been re-appointed by the Director of the Serious Fraud Office to the SFO Panels of Counsel.

Alistair and Dan have been members of the SFO Panel since 2013. In this competition, Alistair was re-appointed to the elite QC Prosecution & POCA Panels and Dan has been upgraded to Level B.

Alistair has been cited as one of the leading Queen’s Counsel in business crime by legal directories for many years and he is currently instructed in a major SFO conspiracy to defraud prosecution (https://www.sfo.gov.uk/2017/03/29/five-men-charged-offences-resulting-sfos-solar-energy-savings-limited-investigation/) as well as continuing to advise private clients.

Dan has specialised in business crime since he began his career at Lincoln House and he is currently instructed as junior counsel to Queen’s Counsel in a major VAT fraud investigation expected to span at least four separate trials in 2018-19.
