Countdown to Murder will recount the events which led up to the attack on Stacey Mackie, by killer Terrence Armer, 61 of Kendal, in January 2012.
Miss Mackie died after Armer set her ablaze after axing his way through the door of her flat.
Following a trial at Carlisle Crown Court in June 2012, Terrence Armer was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 27 years.
