Brenda Campbell KC Attends Oireachtas For A Full State Apology To Clients Following Stardust Inquest Verdict

In the longest running Inquests in the Irish state, the jury at the Stardust Inquests in Dublin returned a verdict of Unlawful Killing in relation to the 48 young people who died in a nightclub fire at the Stardust Ballroom on Valentine’s Night 1981. Our Brenda Campbell KC, together with junior counsel Kate Hanley, was part of a team representing the families of 47 of those who died. Today, together with the bereaved families and the wider legal team, she will attend the Oireachtas in Dublin to hear the formal State apology for the ordeal that the Stardust families have endured in their 43 year campaign for justice.
