Richard Butcher & Rachel Murphy secure acquittal for client charged with allowing premises to be used for the supply of cocaine

Richard Butcher, instructed by Rachel Murphy of Morgan Brown Solicitors, secured an acquittal for the client who was charged with allowing her premises to be used for the supply of cocaine.

After a 12 day trial at Stoke Crown Court the jury acquitted the defendant of any involvement in the large and complex class A drug supply conspiracy. The client was the only one to contest the case and challenge the inferences sought by the prosecution team.

The acquittal brought to an end a three and a half year ordeal faced by the client who had always protested her innocence.
