Bill Baker KC Secures Successful Outcome in Causing Death by Dangerous Driving Trial

Instructed by Nina Lewis of DWF in this significant case, Bill Baker KC successfully defended allegations of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

During the trial, Bill’s cross-examination of the prosecution witnesses significantly undermined key aspects of the prosecution’s case, to the extent that the prosecution was unable to rely upon their evidence. In addition, the evidence of the defence collision reconstruction expert was agreed.

Following Bill’s legal submissions on the issue of causation, the trial judge ruled that there was no case to answer in respect of the charges of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
