Abigail Holt succeeds in Care Quality Commission case

Abigail Holt successfully appealed a case involving a registered nurse whose application to the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to become a Care Home Manager had been repeatedly refused.

The CQC refusal was not only blocking the experienced nurse in progressing his career into management, but also making it extremely difficult for him to find more basic nursing work due to concerns impliedly generated by the CQC refusal.

The Care Standards Tribunal allowed the Appeal unanimously after a highly contested 2 day hearing.
