Acquittals in Bosley Mill Case

Mill Manager Peter Shingler was today acquitted of all health & safety counts relating to the Bosley Mill explosion in July 2015 in which four people died.

Mr Shingler was represented by Malcolm Galloway (Crown Office Chambers) and Lucy Wright (Lincoln house Chambers), who were instructed by Vikki Woodfine & Sophie Parkin of DWF solicitors.

Co defendant, Phil Smith (Operations Executive) has also been acquitted of health & safety charges which followed the acquittal of Wood Treatment Limited on manslaughter counts.
