Alistair Webster has been appointed to chair the inquiry to be held by the Liberal Democrat party into the allegations of inappropriate sexual behaviour made against Lord Rennard. He says,” Despite all the press brouhaha, this is an inquiry which we will approach with open minds and will apply the principles of fairness which are essential for any enquiry of this type.”
