The review discussed whether the Met’s leadership, recruitment, vetting, training, culture and communications support the standards that the public should expect. It goes on to recommend how high standards should be routinely met, and how high levels of public trust in the Met can be restored and maintained.

Analysis of the Review in The Guardian today reports that the Metropolitan police are “institutionally racist, misogynistic and homophobic” https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2023/mar/21/metropolitan-police-institutionally-racist-misogynistic-homophobic-louise-casey-report while the Times refers to the organisation as “Rotten” https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/casey-review-met-police-report-released-2023-689ttwf9h
