Claire Ashcroft and Rebecca Filletti Deliver Training to Clinical Psychiatrists
Following on from the extremely successful Lincoln House Chambers seminar event last week when Clare Ashcroft and Rebecca Filletti, along with Richard English KC, addressed a number of solicitors on preparing criminal cases for the mentally unwell, Clare Ashcroft and Rebecca Filletti continue to draw on their expertise in this area as they were invited to be involved in the training and education of clinical psychiatrists at Ashworth Hospital in Liverpool this week.
The training, delivered to clinical psychiatrists from across the North West area, dealt with the legislation, processes and procedures within the Criminal Justice System for those with mental health difficulties.
Clare and Rebecca spoke on fitness to plead, mental health defences and disposals drawing on their wealth of experience in this area of law.
