Ellen Shaw secured an acquittal for her client in the first trial to be conducted at the newly opened Nightingale Court centre at the Lowry Theatre in Salford Quays. The defendant was charged with a joint enterprise knife point robbery and after 3 hours of deliberation the jury returned not guilty verdicts at 4pm on Friday afternoon.
