Emma successfully defended a man securing his acquittal after full trial. The man was alleged to have been driving carelessly and causing damage to a stationary van, failing to report the accident and failing to stop after the accident. Charges of driving with no insurance were not proceeded with following pre-trial representations. The young man, of previous good character, was delighted with the outcome of the case, retaining his innocence and his driving licence, due to his driving licence being intrinsic to his work.
