HMRC withdraw objection to appeal in Tax Tribunal case following Alistair Webster QC’s opening

Alistair Webster QC’s was successful in the pursuading the HMRC to withdraw their objection to the appeal and agree a payment towards costs in the FTT case of Q Ltd.

The HMRC had previously withdrawn all the approvals held by a large bonded warehouse.

In the interim, Alistair had also secured the ability of the business to continue by securing emergency injunctions in the administrative court.
