Operation Bizarre was described by the Prosecution as the largest ever inland seizure of cannabis on British soil involving, at a conservative estimate, drugs valued at over £100 million.
James Gregory and Dan Thomas acted for a Manchester businessman who was the only Defendant acquitted after an 8-week trial at Minshull Street Crown Court and after a fiercely fought cut-throat defence.
A successful application for costs was made at the conclusion of the trial.
