Lincoln House Chambers Welcomes Thomas Welshman
The members of Lincoln House Chambers are delighted to welcome Thomas Welshman to Chambers’ Crime & Regulatory Team.
Tom was called to the Bar in 2018 and joins Chambers from 1 High Pavement Chambers in Nottingham.
Tom will accept instructions across the full spectrum of criminal offences but he has particular expertise in sexual offences and defending young people charged with serious offences.
Prior to the Bar, Tom worked as an editorial assistant at CrimeLine and a legal editor at The National Archives. These experiences provided Tom with different perspectives on the law which he incorporates into his present work.
Director of Clerking, David Wright, said this of the recruitment of Thomas Welshman:
“We are delighted to welcome Thomas Welshman to Chambers, his arrival further strengthens our Criminal Team and adds even greater depth to our specialist RASSO prosecution and defence teams. Thomas has worked exceptionally hard to establish and develop his practice, and his experience and ability will be a valuable addition to Chambers. We are excited to have him join us and look forward to supporting him as he continues to build on his success and develops what I am sure will be a long and distinguished career at the Bar.”
