At a black tie dinner on 7th October at the Manchester City Art Gallery, the Northern Circuit paid tribute to Lisa Roberts KC of Lincoln House Chambers.
Lisa was Leader of the Northern Circuit for 3 years, from 2020-2022. It was, she told the 70 plus guests, “the best of jobs at the worst of times”. Lisa thanked those who had provided invaluable support and friendship during her time as Circuit Leader, including, from Lincoln House: Andrew Thomas KC (Head of Chambers during Lisa’s tenure), Tim Storrie KC, Alex Leach KC, Holly Nelson, Anna Chestnutt, Marianne Alton, and former members HHJ Suzanne Goddard KC, HHJ Martin Walsh, HHJ Libby Nicholls and HHJ Katherine Pierpoint.
