Lisa Roberts KC was a guest speaker at last night’s annual Health and Safety Lawyers Association event.
Lisa spoke to an audience in London (and online) on the topic of “Do recent environmental fines show us the future for health and safety cases?”
Lisa regularly represents water and sewerage companies (most recently Thames Water and United Utilities) and spoke about the correlation between the way courts deal with Environmental cases against water companies and the fines given to VLOs in Health and Safety cases.
Lisa was invited to speak by Amy Sadro (Eversheds Sutherland and the HSLA).
