Sean Devitt was sentenced at Burnley Crown Court on Friday, 17th January 2013, for 7 offences of sexual activity and sexual intercourse with the teenager. Devitt had befriended and flirted with the girl, bought her gifts and had plied her with drink and drugs at a time when she was particularly vulnerable. He was caught after a hidden recording device captured him engaging in sexual activity with the girl.
