Mark Ford, instructed by Cunninghams Solicitors, successfully defended Paul McCann, a former coach at Crewe Alexandra FC during the 1980’s when he was a contemporary of Barry Bennell.
The case, heard at the Chester Crown Court, attracted national media attention.
The jury returned unanimous verdicts of not guilty on all six charges.
