On Wednesday of this week Abigail Holt, Austin Welch and Leila Ghahhary provided an all-day seminar to employees of Manchester City Council on inquests and coronial law. The seminar explored a number of topics including coroners’ investigations, the powers and duties of coroners, disclosure, practice and procedure at inquests and some of the issues faced by Local Authorities when involved in a coronial investigation.
