Katie was called to the Bar in 2003 and has been a member of Lincoln House since 2008.
Katie has a busy Crown Court practice and is regularly instructed by both the Prosecution and Defence in a wide range of criminal cases. Katie is a Grade 4 Prosecutor and is a member of the Prosecution Circuit Rape Counsel List. She is a member of the Criminal Bar Association and the Northern Circuit.
Katie has gained a reputation as a fearless advocate who is able to combine her robust approach in court with her ability to deal with witnesses and defendants sensitively and compassionately when required.
A substantial part of Katie’s practice is Professional Disciplinary work; Katie is regularly instructed by the General Medical Council to represent the Council before the Interim Orders Tribunal, the Medical Practitioners’ Tribunal and the High Court.
