Following a 2 day retirement by the jury at the end of a 2 week trial which was conducted at Manchester Crown Court Crown Square, Mr Jeremy Lasker secured an acquittal on 15 counts of rape for his client in a case described by the Judge as one of the most harrowing he had ever conducted.
The case had been prosecuted by one of the Principal Crown Prosecutors for Manchester who has recently joined the Crown Prosecution Service in Manchester following a move from London. Mr Jeremy Lasker was instructed by Tranters Solicitors.
