Neil Usher successfully defended his client in R v ME, a trial held at Crown Square, Manchester.
The Crown alleged his client had attempted to strangle his victim with a mobile phone charger cable whilst he raped her. The defendant was originally charged with attempted murder and rape and was tried on the rape allegation. The jury took just over thirty minutes to acquit. Neil was instructed by Olliers solicitors.
