Notorious ‘Ryelands Crew’ gang jailed for 67 years

Andrew Nuttall and Dan Thomas successfully prosecuted Operation Bespoke, a four-month trial involving 13 defendants charged with allegations of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, money laundering and fraud.

Yesterday, the leaders of the organised crime gang – Anthony and Jason Diprose – each received sentences of 16 years imprisonment. Seven other members of the gang known as the ‘Ryelands Crew’ were collectively jailed for over 35 years. Four relatives of the Diproses were also sentenced for laundering the proceeds of crime.

Other Lincoln House Chambers barristers involved in the case were Jeremy Lasker, Simon Gurney, Kevin Donnelly and Ged Doran.
