Rebecca Filletti Secures Acquittal in High Risk Sexual Activity Manslaughter Case

Rebecca Filletti, led by Louise Sweet KC and instructed by Rebecca Caulfield of Maguires Solicitors secures acquittal to manslaughter allegation following tragic Grindr date involving what the Prosecution termed ‘high risk’ sexual activity.

The case featured issues surrounding foreseeability of harm and consent to injury in the context of consensual BDSM sexual activity.

There was substantial toxicological, pathological and neuropathological evidence dealing with issues around causation of injury and death.
