Sarah defended a medical professional who had been charged with multiple counts of rape, penetrative assault and assault occasioning actual bodily harm after allegations were made by three women. After Sarah advanced legal argument that highlighted credibility issues, the crown offered no evidence in respect of one complainant. Allegations of rape, sexual and violent assault made by two remaining complainants were proceeded with to trial and in respect of which the defendant was acquitted.
