Sarah Magill successfully prosecuted a string of exposure offences following a Lancashire Police investigation codenamed Operation Valetta for Lancashire CPS. The defendant attacked care homes over a nine-month period, attending them dressed in women’s lingerie, concealing his identity each time by wearing a mask or women’s knickers over his head.
He would deliberately attract the attention of female care home staff, standing in close proximity to the building, masturbating while watching them. One member of staff was followed from her car as she tried to get inside the building for work by the masturbating defendant. Sarah prosecuted the case with the support of a dedicated team from the CPS and police and the defendant was duly convicted on all counts.
