Alistair Webster QC and Kevin Donnelly have just completed the defence of Matthew Eteson, charged with the manslaughters of his partner and her daughter. They both died from carbon monoxide poisoning on the family yacht on Windermere. At Preston Crown Court Turner J imposed a suspended sentence upon Mr Eteson, finding that his culpability was right at the bottom end of the scale for manslaughter by gross negligence.
Mr. Eteson said, ” I can’t give enough thanks. The job Alistair did was outstanding, both inside and outside the courtroom.”
