Lincoln House Chambers has welcomed the recognition of its work in the latest edition of Chambers and Partners UK Bar 2018. The directory named LH as a Band 1 set for criminal work. In addition a host of individual counsel, across a variety of practice areas, were marked out for their excellence.
Among those highlighted were Peter Wright QC, who retains his ranking in Band 1 in London and in the regions. He was joined for special mention by Kate Blackwell QC, Simon Csoka QC, and, for his work in London, the recently-recruited Andrew Jefferies QC. Lisa Roberts QC was also distinguished by two entries: one for crime and one in the category of Professional Discipline. Christopher Daw QC was also listed in the professional discipline category. Simon Kealey QC received recognition for his work on the North Eastern circuit.
In the Financial Crime sector, Chambers has traditionally made a strong showing. This year, in regional rankings, four out five silks identified as class leaders were from Lincoln House: Alistair Webster QC, Guy Gozem QC, James Pickup QC and Simon Csoka QC.
Junior counsel were also marked out in the rankings. They included Richard Simons (Band 1 for crime), Ian McMeekin and Andrew Nuttall. Ivan Bowley is listed as a class leader for Personal Injury and for Industrial Disease litigation and Simon Gurney is recognised as leading junior for Professional Disciplinary work.
