WICL: Celebrating Three Years of Impact

A recent article in The Messenger highlights the continued impact of Women in Criminal Law (WICL) in supporting women across the criminal justice system.

This was reflected at the Manchester WICL Black Tie Ball on 13 February 2026, celebrating the organisation’s third birthday. The event brought together practitioners from across the profession, with Lincoln House Chambers’ very own Rebecca Filletti delivering the welcoming address in her capacity as a member of the Manchester WICL committee.

Through initiatives such as these, alongside its mentoring, networking and advocacy work, WICL continues to tackle issues of progression, retention and representation within criminal law.

Lincoln House Chambers is proud to support organisations like WICL that are driving meaningful and lasting change.
